Home Plate Update

A week before officially breaking ground on Globe Life Field, the Texas Rangers and HKS released revised renderings of the $1.1 billion ballpark planned for Arlington's Entertainment District.

Featured in the latest edition of Home Plate Update, these renderings offer glimpses of architectural design elements such as the retractable roof, soaring brick arches that line the concourse and seating configurations that place fans closer to the field.

Home Plate Update, a joint project by the City of Arlington's Office of Communications and the Texas Rangers, is a quarterly publication dedicated to informing citizens about everything happening with the new Rangers ballpark and Texas Live! development. Every edition will be produced in a digital format, allowing for layers of additional content like videos, graphics, links to websites and project documents, and other supporting materials.

In this third edition, you can learn more about Globe Life Field's proposed design, hear Cordish Companies Chairman David Cordish talk about the Texas Live! entertainment complex and also read about Milo, the City's new autonomous shuttle pilot program that will serve the Entertainment District.
