From supporting our veterans, a prehistoric adventure with the kiddos, or getting ready for the holidays, here are a few ways to enjoy your weekend in The American Dream City. 

Jamming with the Troops at Texas Live!

Help support our veterans with a concert and live auction. Jamming with the Troops happens at the Arlington Backyard inside Texas Live! 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12. The Great David Whiteman Band, Don Diego and Keith Mitchell are just some of the performers. All proceeds go to helping veterans and their families. Learn more about the event here.

River Legacy’s New Traveling Exhibit: Dinosaur Safari

The grand opening of Dinosaur Safari is 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at River Legacy Living Science Center’s Discovery Room. Experience a walk into our prehistoric past with animatronic dinosaurs, a fossil dig site, take a ride in a safari jeep and much more. Tickets can be purchased in the Center’s gift shop. Winter Craft Market

Also kicking off at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 is the Winter Craft Market on the Oakridge School Campus at 5900 West Pioneer Pkwy. Check out more than 90 vendors for your holiday shopping, unique gifts, and seasonal snacks. The market open to the public and admission is free.
