Do Gooders Directory

Here in the Greater Arlington area, there are so many people with kindness in their hearts, a willingness to pitch in, and a passion for making a difference. There are also many opportunities to volunteer and donate food, blankets, clothing, toys, and other items during the holiday season, said the team behind Sociability magazine.

Sociability, an online magazine dedicated to the art of living generously and serving joyfully, has been working since mid-October to build a comprehensive list of holiday food drives, clothing drives, and toy drives hosted by non-profits, churches, schools, businesses, and volunteer organizations from now through Dec. 31, 2021 in Arlington, Pantego and Dalworthington Gardens. Click here to visit the Do-Gooders Directory.

As a volunteer organization itself, Sociability said it is eternally grateful to the United Way of Tarrant County and its Regional Office in Arlington, the City of Arlington, Leadership Arlington, its contributors, interested citizens, other community organizations, and several Arlington-based Facebook groups for helping the magazine spread the word about its new Do-Gooders Directory.

From now until Saturday, Nov. 20, Sociability is also inviting people to add other holiday drives and volunteer opportunities that are already not included in the Do-Gooders Directory. The final directory will be published on the Sociability website in conjunction with the December 2021 issue. Click here to fill out a form to submit a holiday drive or volunteer opportunity.
