Cat of the Week – Meet Piglet

Meet Piglet. Piglet is our chosen cat? Uh-guinea pig of the week. This young female Guinea Pig is black and white in color. It’s nearly Halloween so we have tricks and treats galore. The first trick is we have a guinea pig standing in for the cat selection. To highlight the fact that other animals are available at the shelter, Piglet is our guinea pig-literally! This specimen of a guinea pig is quite curious and makes the cutest noises like most guinea pigs do. She is very photogenic and is okay with being held. Guinea pigs thrive in groups of two or more. There are two more guinea pigs that came in with Piglet and all are waiting to be adopted. With an adoption fee of only $7.00, adopting Piglet and her buddies could turn this trick into a treat. Meet Piglet in Exotics 1, her ID number is A48879040.

Dog of the Week – Meet Harper

This four-year-old female Labrador Retriever is golden tan in color and weighs 54 pounds. It’s time for a treat-a sweet treat! Harper is a really friendly dog that loves treats and playing with stuffed toys. One might describe this canine as a social butterfly-picture her in THAT costume for Halloween! While in the shelter Harper has been quite curious of the other animals around-like watching the cats- but she doesn’t bark at them like others. A loving family willing to provide affection, exercise opportunities and perhaps baths to help her skin allergies would be the perfect treat for Harper. Meet Harper in Dog Adoptions (DA) 2, her ID number is A48709340. This is the last week of National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month so Harper’s adoption fee is only $10.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
