On Monday, July 19, 2021 at 3:59 p.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to a motel in the 1200 block of N. Watson Road after an employee reported finding a man’s body inside a vehicle that was parked there. Due to the state of the body, it’s believed the victim had been deceased for some time.

Signs of trauma were observed on the body, and as such, the APD Homicide Unit is currently investigating the victim’s death as suspicious. Detectives are working to obtain a search warrant for the vehicle and gather any other evidence that may provide clues about what happened.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause and manner of death. They will also identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
