Alliance For Children

Alliance For Children’s annual Back to School Connection relies on community donations to provide over 400 Tarrant County children with needed school supplies, backpacks, and hygiene items.

Over 400 children will be receiving backpacks and school supplies this August as part of Alliance For Children’s annual Back to School Connection. This event will be hosted as a drive-thru this year, allowing parents and caregivers to make just one stop to get items they need to start the school year. Alliance For Children  needs the community’s support this deliver these services. Your donation of $15 provides one child with the essential school supplies for the coming year. Additionally, you can also shop our Amazon Wish List to purchase hygiene items or purchase yourself at your local store.

Due to the effects of COVID-19, numbers of child abuse victims are higher than ever before and we are serving affected children across Tarrant County to provide safety, healing, and stability. The need for supplies for the coming school year is growing and we ask for your support in providing these children with tools for success.

“Your support of our Back to School Connection allows child abuse victims to start the school year fresh and ready to learn,” says Alyssa Carey, Client Support Coordinator. “Providing school supplies free of charge is one less burden on our families so that they can remain focused on the healing process.”
