While the temperatures are back to normal, life is not for many families. The City of Arlington is ready to help as residents work to recover from last week's winter storm. The latest Neighborhood Network News showcases a few of the resources available to help move forward. 

✅ Restock the Refrigerator 

The Tarrant Area Food Bank is hosting a food distribution event Thursday, Feb. 25. 2021 at Globe Life Field. The event is open to anyone in need. Head to Parking Lot M from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for free groceries. 

✅ Get Help with Housing Repairs 

Homeowners needing emergency repairs as a result of last week’s winter storm may be eligible for up to $5,000 from the Arlington Housing Authority Housing Rehabilitation Emergency Repair Program. Emergency repair funds are available for plumbing and electrical repairs, or any other conditions that are detrimental or a threat to life, health, or safety and require immediate action. The Texas Department of Insurance is ready to help as you navigate the claims process. You can access help online or call the agency's hotline at 800-252-3439. The team can also help with federal disaster relief for damage not covered by insurance.
