The Arlington Police Department responded to a major crash in the westbound lanes in the 700 block of East I.H. 30 on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 2:44 a.m.

This was a single vehicle crash involving one occupant. The driver, a man in his 30’s, was travelling westbound and for an unknown reason, lost control and left the roadway. The vehicle drove between two guard rails and struck a large concrete pillar.

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
