As 2020 comes to a close, we're looking back at some of the top videos of the year. From amazing tributes to our healthcare heroes to small business success stories, here are the top videos of 2020.

1. Wear a Mask with Grammy-Winning Artist Kirk Franklin

Early in the coronavirus pandemic, the City of Arlington and its residents united to stop the spread. And one of our favorite community members lent his voice to the effort. Grammy-winner Kirk Franklin helped spread the message — Be kind, be safe, be healthy. 

2. Local Family Opens Up About Battle with COVID-19

As the coronavirus hit one Arlington family, they bravely shared the lessons they learned, in order to protect others. 

3. The Blue Angels Fly Over Arlington To Salute COVID-19 First Responders 

It was a tribute fit for our healthcare heroes. The legendary Blue Angels flew over Arlington in May to honor the first responders working to treat COVID-19 patients. 

4. Culture Buzz

Many families used this year to get in touch with their creative sides. Our Culture Buzz series highlighted a variety of safe options from art projects to socially-distanced concerts.

5. FY2021 Operating Budget

This year's budget video helped residents see how the City is putting savings into action. 

6. Arlington's East Library and Recreation Center Grand Opening

The community celebrated the new East Library and Recreation Center opening this fall. That wasn't the only big ribbon cutting; The Beacon opened this year, as well.

7. Arlington Eats

Our series spotlighting local restaurants became even more popular in 2020 as residents looked for ways to support their favorite hometown spots.  

8. Globe Life Field Hosts 2020 World Series 

Globe Life Field may not have had the traditional grand opening. But the new ballpark had the entire sports world watching when it played host to the 2020 World Series.

9. The American Dream Story of Brandon Hurtado

Brandon Hurtado helped redefine barbecue with his pop-up shop before opening a restaurant in Downtown Arlington's Urban Union. His story is just one example of Arlington residents living their American Dream. 

10. How to Save Water and Lower Your Bill

Arlington Water Utilities is helping residents conserve water and lower their bills in this informative video.
