Cat of the Week - Meet Clarence

This nine-year one-month old male Domestic Long Hair is white and brown in color. Clarence is a very affectionate cat whose main desire is to be warm, cozy and “petted”. He loves cozying up beside you while you stroke his soft fur. He also appreciates being combed. When he came into the shelter, he had a lot of fur mats. To remove some of them he was shaved on his tail and rear so he’s missing some of his long locks. Clarence would probably do best in a home with older adults. A warm bed for him to curl up in would be on his wish list. Like Clarence, the guardian angel in “It’s A Wonderful Life”, adopting this cat can help you earn your “wings”. His adoption fee is only $25. Clarence is in Cat Adoptions (CA) 3, with ID number 46020707.

Dog of the Week - Meet Princess

This nine year ten-month-old female Shepherd mix is brown and white in color and weighs 42 pounds. Age is just a number that really describes the demeanor of this dog. Princess doesn’t act like a nearly ten-year-old dog. When you throw the ball, she will chase it but will run by instead of picking it up. If you can slow her down, she does appreciate being rubbed on the head and haunches. Loving life and meeting new friends are favorite pastimes of hers. Princess does know the command of “sit”. When walking on a leash, she tends to pull on it because she’s just so darned excited to explore everything around her. With an adoption fee of $25, Princess is waiting for a new pet guardian to adopt her so she can live “happily ever after”. Princess is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 1, with ID number A14310942.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
