Dog of the Week #1 - Meet Maggie

Meet Maggie. Maggie is our second chosen dog of the week. This two-year-old female Beagle mix is white and brown in color and weighs 35 pounds. The start of the holidays has arrived and we're encouraging you to start them with a new furry companion. Maggie has a fun personality ready to fit into any household. She is task oriented and will complete her tasks for a treat. She knows the command of "sit" and walks reasonably well on a leash. Maggie appears to be dog friendly so she would probably do well in a household with other canine companions. With an adoption fee of $25, now would be a good time to add Maggie to your household. Maggie is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 4, with ID A45971019. Meet Maggie today!

Dog of the Week #2 - Meet Cowboy

Meet Cowboy. Cowboy is our chosen "stand in" for cat of the week. This eight-year-old male Rottweiler mix is black and tan in color and weighs 84 pounds. Here it is--time for Thanksgiving and people having "seconds" of food. So, we are featuring Cowboy as pet of the week a second time. He was featured a couple of weeks ago and is still in the shelter waiting for his new furever home. A favorite of the shelter staff, Cowboy needs an adopter willing to see him through his golden years. He envisions himself as a lap dog and really wants to be loved. Playful and energetic for his age he prefers human interaction. He is heartworm positive calling for a new owner that will follow up with heartworm treatment. Lower cost treatment information can be provided at time of adoption. His adoption fee is only $25. Cowboy is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 11, with ID A30009815. Who out there is willing to open their heart and home to this "lonesome" Cowboy?

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
