Housing Channel is a local nonprofit agency with HUD-certified housing advisors who are ready to assist struggling Tarrant County residents with free services for housing retention and foreclosure prevention.

Have you lost your job due to the coronavirus pandemic and are having difficulty paying your mortgage or rent? Housing Channel is a local nonprofit agency with HUD-certified housing advisors who are ready to assist struggling Tarrant County residents with free services for housing retention and foreclosure prevention.
Services are available in English and Spanish.

Renters and homeowners can discuss their financial situation and meet directly with dedicated on-site staff and experienced housing advisors about options that may be available. These include:

 For renters

• Determine if you qualify for financial rental assistance due to job loss or job loss due to COVID-19

• Facilitate the application process to obtain available financial resources

For Homeowners

• Identify potential solutions to keep your home

• Discuss foreclosure alternatives

• Serve as your liaison to communicate directly with your mortgage servicer
