APD Hosts State of the District Virtual Meetings

Each year, the Arlington Police Department hosts a series of community meetings to keep residents of each police district informed about what is happening on their sides of town, to share what their beat officers have accomplished over the past year, and to give citizens an opportunity to ask APD Command Staff any public safety questions they may have.

Typically, these “State of the District” meetings are held in-person. But in light of the ongoing pandemic, and in line with CDC, state, and local guidelines, this year, each district will host a virtual meeting.

Interim Police Chief Kevin Kolbye and each district’s Deputy Chief will make a brief presentation during each meeting. Participants will then have the opportunity to submit questions electronically in real time. Command Staff will answer as many questions as time allows.

Each meeting will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the specific dates listed below.

To attend the virtual meeting, click on the appropriate link below for your district.

If you’re unsure which district you live in, visit the “Find Your Beat Sergeant” section of the APD website

If you do not have the Microsoft Teams app installed on your desktop or laptop, simply click on the button that says “Watch on the Web Instead” when prompted, and you will be admitted into the meeting room via your web browser.

In order to access the meeting from a mobile device or tablet, you will first need to download the free Microsoft Teams app from your device’s app store.
