Pets of the Week - Meet Vera and Prince!

Cat of the Week – Meet Dodger

This two-month-old male Domestic Medium Hair is solid black in color. Even though this young kitten shares his name with a Jack Russell terrier in an animated film, he doesn't seem to have an identity crisis. He exhibits typical kitten behavior as he can be a little nervous when meeting a new human for the first time. Given time, his curiosity will kick in and he can't contain himself. Exploration of the world around him gives him a chance to learn new things and show off his kittenish antics. Dodger loves attention and is ready to be adopted by a new pet guardian so he can have a whole house to explore and call his own. Don't make Dodger wait any longer to be adopted! Dodger is in Cat Adoptions (CA) 1, and his ID number is 45162477. Call 817-575-8128, or 817-575-8129 and provide Dodger’s ID number to schedule an appointment to meet. Currently, pet adoptions are being handled by appointment only.

Dog of the Week – Meet Peanut

This two-year and nine-month-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is brown and white in color and weighs 71 pounds. Summertime is well underway and it's time for "Dog-ust" a good month to celebrate the dog days of summer with a new adoptee. Consider Peanut as a candidate as your next furry friend. She's a sweet, calm girl. Her calmness disappears once a "stuffie" (stuffed animal toy) is introduced into the mix. She loves to pick a favorite stuffie and carry it around with her. She does know the command of "sit" and walks well on a leash (until she gets excited to get somewhere else). A loving, active family ready to adopt should add Peanut to their list to consider. Peanut is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 3, and his ID number is 42966387. Call 817-575-8128, or 817-575-8129 and provide Peanut’s ID number to schedule an appointment to meet. Currently, pet adoptions are being handled by appointment only.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
