It's really starting to feel like summer. Temperatures are climbing, pools are open, Six Flags Over Texas is reopening soon and the Levitt Pavilion is offering live music (streaming to your home.) Your favorite summer traditions may look a little different this year. But there's still plenty to enjoy in The American Dream City. Here's your latest to-do list.
✅ Get help with summer meals
Arlington ISD is continuing its free meal program through the summer. Parents can pick up food for three meals, twice a week. Click here to see pickup times and locations.
✅ Enjoy live music — safely at home
Coronavirus may have forced Levitt Pavilion Arlington to cancel its traditional summer concert season, but the venue is still providing free shows. You'll find live-streamed concerts June 16 and 23 at 8 p.m. on the Levitt's Facebook page. Click here to learn more.
✅ Experience some thrills
Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor will reopen June 22, 2020 with new health restrictions in place. The parks will open a few days earlier for season ticket holders. Click here to learn more.
✅ Keep cool with Arlington Parks & Recreation
All City pools will open for the season June 12, 2020. (Randol Mill and Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Centers opened earlier this month.) Click here to reserve your time at one of Arlington's great pools.
