Whether it’s finding new ways to serve customers or support the community, businesses of all sizes have been innovating and overcoming challenges together. Greater Arlington is stronger together, and we are proud to see members of the community supporting one another. Atmos Energy is one of the many companies that is extending a hand to help other businesses that are struggling.

Atmos Energy is allowing businesses to focus on their customers and adapt to this unprecedented time by assisting with their natural gas bills. Atmos Energy has temporarily suspended natural gas disconnections for non-payment. The company also offers payment installment plans that spread out payments of the total balance over time. During this time, there are no added charges or fees.

Atmos Energy has continued to be reliable and generous not only to customers but to our community. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Atmos Energy has implemented new ways to support local restaurants. Atmos Energy celebrates “Take-Out Tuesday” by offering our 4,800 employees the opportunity to order lunch today from a restaurant of their choice. By supporting “Take-Out Tuesday”, Atmos Energy is rallying behind local businesses affected by the pandemic.

“We are inspired by the way our communities have come together, going above and beyond to lift each other up during these uncertain times,” said Kevin Akers, Atmos Energy President and CEO. “Restaurants provide an essential service as the nation confronts this challenge, and empowering our employees to celebrate Take-Out Tuesday is yet another way we can do our part. We hope this show of support will drive substantial revenue and further strengthen our existing relationships with local restaurants across the eight states and 1,400 communities we serve.”
