The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), issued an order that may protect you from being evicted or removed from where you are living. This means that you may be able to stay at the place where you live through June 30, 2021, if you qualify. You would need to sign the declaration form and provide to your landlord

  • Assistance is available to help pay your electric and utility bills. Click here to apply for assistance with Community Action Partners.
  • Assistance is available to help pay your water bill. Call Catholic Charities at 817-534-0814 to apply for the Arlington Water's Care and Share Program.
  • Trinity Metro is offering free rides for job seekers, beginning 9/14/20, on all buses, trains, ACCESS and ZIPZONE. Customers will need to have some form of communication from the interviewing company, such as a letter or email with appointment date/time, or a flyer for a job fair. Just show the document and ID to the bus/train operator. ZIPZONE riders will need to call 817-215-8600 to obtain a one-time code.
  • Texas Health and Human Services Commission has temporarily waived renewal requirements for Medicaid, SNAP clients during COVID-19 crisis. CLICK HERE to read the document.

For Arlington Housing Authority Clients: 

  • From Jun 14 - Aug 22, 2021, the AHA lobby hours will be Mon - Thu, 8:30-5:00. On Friday, the clerk windows will close at noon.
  •  A secure drop box is available in the lobby for participants to drop off documents. A copier is available for you to make free copies of your original documents. AHA will provide an email confirmation that the documents were received.
  • Applicants, landlords and tenants can submit paperwork through email, the AssistanceConnect portal, or the lobby drop box.
  • AHA staff can provide information to applicants, landlords and tenants through mail, email, or the AssistanceConnect portal.
  • AHA will continue to process rent payments on a weekly basis. We do not anticipate any delays in payments to landlords.
