Arlington Police Annual Report 

The Arlington Police Department released the 2019 Annual Report to City Council and the community on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

  • Included in the report are stories of compassion, heroism, and how the department serves the community. The Annual Report includes crime trends and strategies to address rising violent crime.

    Some of the highlights include:

    The Department received the International Association of Chiefs of Police – Civil Rights Award
  • Creation of a Multidisciplinary Threat Assessment Team to reduce violence in schools
  • 3rd Place Award for National Night Out
  • Meritorious Award with Excellence for Law Enforcement from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies
  • 15,080 Arrests with 1,675 Arrested Persons charged with Driving While Intoxicated
  • Responded to 120,717 Dispatched Calls for Service
  • 15% Increase in Violent Crime (UCR)
  • 3% Reduction in Property Crime (UCR)
