Division Brewing founders Wade Wadlington and Sean Cooley are living the American Dream after opening the first locally owned and operated brewery in the City of Arlington.

The brewery first opened in December 2015 and is located at 506 E. Main St, Arlington, TX 76010 in Downtown. Wade, Sean and the rest of the Division staff provide true hand-crafted beer to the citizens and visitors of The American Dream City.

Wade grew up in Arlington and has spent more than 20 years practicing the art of making craft beer for neighbors and friends. Sean lives with his wife and two children in Arlington after spending his childhood years in Europe.

Division serves clean, refreshing light ales, such as blondes, wheats, and hoppy India pale ales. They also brew malty amber beers, as well as dark porters and stouts. According to Division's website, the "Sour Division" ferments at warmer temperatures, ages with oak and sometimes fruit to create tart and fruity sour beers.

Menus are available for visitors to order food from local Mavericks Bar & Grill or Old School Pizza & Suds. Visitors are also welcome to bring food with them. There is an outside area which is both dog, food and beer friendly.

Last month, Division Brewing was recognized in the article titled "13 Reasons to Drive to Arlington" by Zagat.com.

The taproom is open Thursdays and Fridays from 4-10 p.m. and Saturdays from 2-10 p.m. For more information, please call 682-276-1276 or visit https://divisionbrewing.com/.
