Arlington on April 15

Whether it's dusty stacks of credit card statements, old receipts, or even last year's tax forms, the threat of identity theft doesn't provide comfort in parting ways with sensitive documents.

That's why Texas Health Resources is inviting the community to participate in Shredfest, a free, secure shredding service provided by Iron Mountain. In recognition of Earth Day, the event will take place on Saturday, April 15.

From 9 a.m. to noon at several Texas Health locations, personal paperwork will be shredded securely on-site, and all the paper shreddings are recycled. Each participant may bring up to five boxes or bags of material for shredding.

Before driving to any of the seven Texas Health locations, please keep a few things in mind:

These items can be shredded

  • Paper
  • Fasteners (paper clips and staples)
