UTA’S EXCEL Campus Activities Offering Free Thursday Night Movies

Looking for free stuff to do in The American Dream City this summer?

The University of Texas at Arlington's EXCEL Campus Activities is hosting a free outdoor movie experience nearly every week through early August.

EXCEL will show the movies at 9 p.m. on Thursdays in UTA's Architecture Courtyard, located at 601 W. Nedderman Dr. Concessions will be sold at the events, but popcorn is free to all attendees.

In the case of inclement weather, movies will be shown in the Lone Star Auditorium, inside the Maverick Activities Center at 500 W Nedderman Dr.

  • June 22 - Get Out (R)
  • June 29 - Despicable Me (PG)
  • July 13 - Fate of the Furious (PG-13)
  • July 20 - The Circle (PG-13)
  • July 27 - King Arthur (PG-13)
  • August 3 - Pirates of the Caribbean (PG-13)

The movies are subject to change due to film availability.
