Gone Fishing

The new Gander Mountain in Arlington has teamed up with the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department to give away prizes for a lucky angler who catches one of our tagged fish.

There are currently several tagged fish in Lake Arlington, including a 7 pound largemouth bass. Also, a giant 9.63 pound bass was tagged and released in Lake Fork! We plan to continually add more tagged fish in other North Texas lakes and update the prize list. Each tag has a unique number and our website address.

THE PRIZES

Winners may choose from a list of prizes, including a $100 gift card from Gander Mountain. The City of Arlington is offering golf and swim passes, pavilion rentals, boat permits, and more!

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR FISH

There are two ways to claim a tagged fish prize. We encourage catch and release to help sustain the fish population.

Provide a clear photo of the tag number and release the fish, or, remove the tag, release the fish and present the tag to the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department office for validation at 717 West Main, Arlington, TX 76013.

For more information, please call 817-575-8306, or email [email protected] to redeem prizes!
