Parks and Recreation Volunteer of the Month

The Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that Mr. Bob Stachow been selected as the volunteer of the month!

Over the past six months, Bob has volunteered in our administrative office, supporting staff members by compiling, organizing, and editing our practices in preparation for our CAPRA certification submittal. The Commission for Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) recognizes park and recreation agencies at a higher level for excellence in service and operation.

The application process was extensive and work space was somewhat confined, however Bob came in with a smile daily. Even with multiple document files, paper files and binders to sort through, Bob never stopped pushing forward.

His "Naturally Fun Attitude" has been a phenomenal asset during this application process and he has been a much valued part of our Parks and Recreation team.

Staff members would like to express their sincere thanks for his voluntary services and designate Bob as the August 2014 Volunteer of the Month!
