The FootGolf Craze Rolls Into Arlington

Following the successful grand opening of the city's first FootGolf course at Meadowbrook Park, excitement about the modern sport continues to brew in within the City of Arlington, and around the metroplex.

Meadowbrook Golf Course has already received numerous requests for FootGolf tournaments, company outings and fundraisers. Even area soccer teams have made reservations to play FootGolf as an alternative to a standard practice.

"It's a new sport and a way that people of all ages and abilities can play and have fun. It's a great program for team building, fundraisers, family reunions and even a good way for soccer teams to practice," Arlington Golf's Tournament and Event Coordinator Ty Krause said.

The Arlington Parks and Recreation staff is planning to host a fundraiser at the course later this month for the American Heart Association. The 9-Hole course caters to all ages and even has soccer balls available for rent at the clubhouse. All you need to play this game is... you.
