On Saturday, Nov. 23, celebrate Texas Recycles Day in Arlington by disposing of unwanted computers, televisions, or even cell phones. The annual Computer Roundup is from 8 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at the southeast corner of Mitchell and Cooper streets on the UT-Arlington campus. And it's free.

Arlington residents can bring old monitors, keyboards, printers, radios, VCRs, video cameras - anything electronic, with the exception of large, household appliances such as refrigerators, washers and dryers. Call 817-317-2000 for disposal of those items. Proof of Arlington residency is required.

Remember also that the Arlington Landfill accepts old computers and computer-related equipment for recycling year-round. Just drop the items off at the landfill where they will be stored and then taken to a recycler. If you have questions, call the landfill at 817-354-2300.

For more information about Computer Roundup, call 817-459-6777.
