Arlington Community Development & Planning will host an open house updating residents on the Sign Code project next Thursday, Feb. 12 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Council Briefing Room, which is located on the third floor of City Hall (101 W. Abram Street).

The goal of the Sign Code Update project is to develop a simplified set of sign regulations, creating effective and visually pleasing signage in the City of Arlington.

Over the course of a year in gathering input and recommendations, a draft with a new look and layout is developed, much aligned with the recently adopted Unified Development Code.

All the different types of signs are organized with images and tables for ease of use and clarity of standards.

To gather public feedback about the draft code, the City is hosting an open house.

The open house will have a presentation with time for questions at the end.

Please join us to learn more about how these signs could enhance Arlington's visual landscape!
