High school students interested in law enforcement now have an opportunity to train with some of the city's best.

The Hometown Recruiting Program - a unique partnership between the City of Arlington, UT Arlington and Arlington ISD - is helping the Arlington Police Department recruit more homegrown talent to build its force.

This first-year program allows high school seniors to earn credit toward a criminal justice degree at UT Arlington and participate in early police training.

After earning a college degree from UT Arlington, students can become a top recruit for the Arlington Police Department.

Hear what some students have to say about this unique program offered right here in The American Dream City.
