UT Arlington 's Annual Glass Art Show & Sale

Nearly 1,000 exquisitely crafted works of glass art go on sale to the public Saturday, March 28, at The University of Texas at Arlington 's annual Glass Art Show and Sale at the Studio Arts Center, located at 810 S. Davis St. The work, designed by students, faculty and staff in the College of Liberal Arts Glass Art program, will range from paperweights and vases to sculptures and other collector items. Prices range from $5 into the thousands. The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A silent auction takes place at 2 p.m., with silent auction bids taken from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., also at the Studio Arts Center.

Arlington Tennis Center 20th Anniversary Celebration

Head over to the Arlington Tennis Center this Saturday as the center celebrates its 20th anniversary with a USTA Block Party for the entire family. ATC is an award-winning public tennis facility with 26 outdoor, lighted courts. This fun event will run from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at the Arlington Tennis Center, 500 Mayfield Road. Tarrant County College 's 3rd Annual Community & High School Showcase

Tarrant County College campuses are open for the community and potential students to stop by and see firsthand the various paths to opportunity that each of the five campuses offers. Whether you are a student seeking academic success, an employee seeking new skills or a business or industry leader searching for greater expertise for your work force, TCC has something for you. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at all TCC campuses, including the Southeast Campus in Arlington (2100 Southeast Pkwy).

Food Truck Friday: Spring Series

The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department continues its spring "Food Truck Fridays " series for people hankering for some awesome food truck eats and treats. "Food Truck Fridays " will continue through Friday, April 3 at Founders Plaza, located at 100 West Abram Street, in The American Dream City. It will revolve around lunchtime, with trucks being there from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. For more information about the food truck series, contact Rental and Lake Services Manager at 817-575-8283.

Alley Cats Breakfast with the Easter Bunny!

Enjoy Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Alley Cats! The package includes an all you can eat breakfast buffet, a photo with the Easter Bunny and a $10 Game Card.
