The newest Culture Buzz segment on MyArlingtonTV previews Levitt Pavilion Arlington's 2018 concert series, which kicks off this Friday with a performance by award-winning Texas troubadour, Ray Wylie Hubbard.

2018 will be a year of celebration for Levitt Pavilion Arlington as it begins its 10th year of free music. The concert season will be packed with some of the Levitt's most popular artists over the last nine years.

"It's really hard to believe that it's been 10 years," said Executive Director Patti Diou, who said the Levitt's audience has grown from 40,000 a year to more than 130,000 a year. "We really expect those numbers to continue to grow and just make the Levitt something that is on everyone's calendar every year to come out and see all the great shows."

Summer concert dates are May 18 through July 22. Fall concerts are Aug. 31 through Oct. 21. Concert nights will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Family Movie Night will be on Thursdays June 7 through July 12. Most concerts and movie nights are at 8 p.m. Summer concerts and movies after July 3 will begin at 8:30 p.m.
