Dream Builders is a show on MyArlingtonTV that highlights the ways our community is helping kids dream big, nurture their creativity, polish their skills and develop the tools they need to achieve their American Dream as young adults.

The latest Dream Builders episode focuses on Luke Chacko, a 12-year-old YouTube viral video sensation from The American Dream City.

Luke Chacko's singing talents were recognized after thousands watched his impromptu performance at an Idina Menzel concert on July 30, 2017. When Menzel asked for volunteers to help her sing the hit song "Let it Go" from the movie Frozen, Chacko seized on the opportunity to showcase his incredible gift.

The viral video led to an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", where Luke Chacko once again performed "Let it Go" and was reunited with his idol, Idina Menzel, a Tony Award-winning actress, singer and songwriter. Luke is thankful for the support of his family and the City of Arlington.

"I was born and raised in Arlington," Chacko said. "When you see your family there cheering for you, you feel more confident and more encouraged. They've helped me build for my dream by supporting me and letting me choose what I want to do."

The City's Office of Communication develops programming for MyArlingtonTV. Viewers can find MyArlingtonTV programs on the following cable systems: Spectrum Channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99, and streaming capabilities at www.arlington-tx.gov.
