I-30

As part of the Interstate 30/State Highway 360 interchange project, the westbound I-30 far left lane will be closed from Great Southwest Parkway to SH 360 starting Friday, Jan. 27 at 9 p.m. through Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 6 a.m. for bridge construction, weather permitting.

Construction during this closure includes the casting of bridge elements near westbound I-30 main lanes. Motorists should expect delays, and alternate routes are encouraged.

The $233 million I-30/SH 360 interchange project will replace the existing cloverleaf turnpike configuration with a modern direct connect interchange. The improvements to the area will increase safety, connectivity and mobility for motorists. Safety is a top priority at TxDOT, and the foundation for the agency's planning, building and maintaining of projects across the state. When driving through a work zone, some simple steps to take are: slow down, pay attention, avoid distractions such as cell phones, be patient and plan ahead. TxDOT appreciates the patience of motorists, and encourages attention to all warning signs within the construction work zone while crews work diligently to complete this work as quickly and as safely as possible.
