Downtown Master Plan: The second of a series of public meetings to help shape the City of Arlington 's Downtown Master Plan is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at Legal Draft Beer Co., 500 E. Julia Burgen 's Vision: Former Arlington City Council member Julia Burgen, who has a park named for her along Johnson Creek, is well-known for her environmental activism in The American Dream City. Check out Burgen 's American Dream Story, which highlights her lengthy list of accomplishments to protect and enhance the environment here in Arlington.

Bond Tracker: Our Bond Tracker segment for MyArlingtonTV is designed to keep residents informed about the progress of construction on dozens of projects that were included in the City 's bond elections. This month 's episode features the Eden Road and Timberlake Drive street rebuild projects, which are both part of the voter-approved 2014 Bond Program.

Downtown Library: Heads up, bookworms! The state-of-the-art George W. Hawkes Downtown Library celebrates its grand opening on Saturday, June 16. Arlington 's Forgotten History: As part of the Summer Reading Club, author, journalist and historian O.K. Carter will offer a funny look back at Arlington 's forgotten history. Meet the Neighbors: The latest episode of Meet the Neighbors takes us to Waterwood Estates, where the voluntary homeowners association recently celebrated receiving a Neighborhood Matching Grant from the City of Arlington for a beautification project. Neighborhood Enhancements: Speaking of Neighborhood Matching Grants, the City of Arlington recently awarded just over $90,000 in grant funds for nine projects proposed by neighborhoods across The American Dream City. Neighborhood entrance improvements, additional lighting and playground enhancements are just a few of the projects that will receive funding this year through the grant program.
