Monster Jam at AT&T Stadium

Motorsport fans and adrenaline junkies can rejoice this Valentine's Day weekend, as Monster Jam arrives at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 7 p.m. Monster Jam is a live motorsport event tour and television show featuring freestyle competitions by monster trucks Tickets prices vary and more information can be found by visiting Ticketmaster.com. "Paint Like Picasso" at Arlington Museum of Art

Relax with a glass of wine and learn to paint like Picasso. Local artist and painter, Paula Mitchell will walk you through painting your own masterpiece. This event is sponsored by Arlington Cultural Tourism Council and the National Endowment for the Arts Please register online at www.arlingtonmuseum.org. $25 includes all supplies and refreshments. UTA Men's & Women's Basketball at College Park Center

Both the UTA Men's and Women's Basketball teams square off against Texas State at College Park Center this Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Downtown. The Lady Mavs (15-4, 8-1 in Sun Belt Conference) tip-off is at 2 p.m. CT followed by the Men's Basketball team (16-6, 6-3 in Sun Belt Conference) at 4:30 p.m. CT. Arlington CVB's Super Bowl Guide

Whether it's for the commercials or the last chance chance to watch NFL football this season, many Arlington residents will be watching Super Bowl LI featuring the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots. If you're looking for watch parties throughout The American Dream City, head over to the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau website for their list of restaurants holding special events for the big game. The game gets underway at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 5 and will be nationally televised on FOX.

Spring Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium has announced its spring schedule of shows through May 28, 2017. This lineup includes Phantom of the Universe, a new planetarium show that unveils scientists' efforts to explore Dark Matter. The show focuses on the Large Hadron Collider, the gigantic underground particle detector which is being used to explore the inner workings of the matter. Dark Matter is invisible and we only know of its existence due to its gravitational effect. Pablo Picasso: Ceramics Exhibit at Arlington Museum of Art

The Arlington Museum of Art in Downtown proudly announces its winter blockbuster exhibit, Pablo Picasso: Ceramics, featuring more than 40 ceramics by renowned artist Pablo Picasso. The exhibit will be on display from November 12, 2016 through February 12, 2017.
