Are you tired of getting your dad socks and ties for every holiday? Gifts that pile up in the back of a closet grow tiresome. Visit one of Arlington's municipal golf courses (Tierra Verde Golf Club, Lake Arlington Golf Course or Meadowbrook Park Golf Course) or the Arlington Tennis Center to get your father a gift he will use and enjoy.

Tennis

The Arlington Tennis Center offers gift certificates that can be used on the huge assortment of Pro shop merchandise, court fees or any instruction or drill league. Whether your dad is looking for a new sport to pick up, or our ATC staff knows him by name, a gift card will go a long way.To celebrate dads, the ATC is offering:

  • 20 percent off all in-stock merchandise from Saturday, June 9 through Sunday, June 17.
  • FREE Dad's Drill on Saturday morning, June 16. Participants must register in advance. Limit 12. Call 817-459-6163 for info.
  • Father's Play Free Sunday, June 17, from noon to 5 p.m.

Golf and good food

Arlington Golf also offers gift cards which you can conveniently purchase through the website at ArlingtonGolf.com or at any of the three golf courses. The gift cards will also be valid at the City's future Texas Rangers Golf Club, set to open later this summer. Celebrate your dad by buying him an afternoon on the fairway! The gift cards can also be used on any Golf Shop purchase, or food and drinks while on the links. If you aren't a golf fan, meet for lunch or dinner at Ventana Grille. The restaurant is located at scenic Tierra Verde Golf Club.

Father's Day Swim

Dads receive free admission at any City public pool with the purchase of a child's admission on Father's Day, June 17. Click here for pool hours and locations.

Happy Father's Day to all of the #NaturallyFun dads in The American Dream City!
