Dog of the Week - Meet Lonnie

This one and half-year-old male black Mouth Cur is red and black in color and weighs 47 pounds. Lonnie is a lively dog that believes he's a lap dog. Eager to be on the receiving end of attention, he will try to get on your lap. While he doesn't really "sit" on command, he does sit on his own with no coaxing. He's ready to give "doggie" kisses to any willing party. Lonnie would probably do best with an active family willing to offer exercise opportunities and lots of love and affection. Meet Lonnie in Dog Adoptions (DA) 23; his ID number is 38719678.

Cat of the Week - Meet Galaxy

This one-year-old female Domestic Shorthair is a brown Tabby. Galaxy is a young, somewhat timid feline who will eventually warm up to you. A new pet guardian with lots of patience would probably be a good fit. She does purr quite a bit and makes "air biscuits". Because Galaxy is wary of unfamiliar and loud noises, she would probably do best in a quiet household with no small children or other pets. Come adopt this girl and open up a galaxy of opportunity for love and affection. Galaxy is in Cat Adoptions (CA) 18 and her ID number is 39814114.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
