Program Updates: If you are using the COPM vehicles assigned to your district the hours of 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., they will be used primary for patrolling elementary schools in your area.

The COP Mobile program is designed to reduce property crime such as auto and residential burglaries by directing strategic patrols to areas in need of a visible presence. These City-owned vehicles are not designed in any way to resemble a police patrol car yet give a clear indication that the driver is trained to contact police immediately if they view suspicious activity, a crime in progress or even a medical emergency.
