The School Resource Officer (SRO) Unit is part of the Arlington Police Department's Youth Services Section and works in partnership with Arlington ISD to serve and protect its school campuses.

The SRO Unit is comprised of 28 Officers and 3 Sergeants.

All Arlington ISD high schools and junior high schools have at least one assigned SRO. All Arlington ISD elementary schools have either an assigned SRO or an off-duty officer on campus throughout the school day.
