Lake Arlington Paddling Trail is the first paddling trail in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as well as the first flat-water paddling trail in Texas. The construction of Lake Arlington started on May 15, 1956 and finished on July 19, 1957. The lake serves area residents as a recreational and fishing spot and provides water for the City of Arlington. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our lake safe and clean!

Lake Arlington Paddling Trail is open to the public from dawn to dusk. For your safety, do not remain on the trail outside of these hours.
