The Teen Court Coordinator reserves the right to reschedule Teen Court hearings for any defendant or juror who does not comply with the Dress Code.

Male Prosecutors/Attorneys/Bailiffs

  1. Male prosecutors/attorneys must wear: slacks/khakis, a button down shirt, tie and dress shoes with dress socks. All pants must be worn at the waist.
  2. NO: baggy or saggy pants; no ripped pants(even store bought “pre-ripped pants); no visible facial jewelry or tattoos; no “grillz”; no flip flops or sandals.

Female Prosecutors/Attorneys/Bailiffs

  1. Female prosecutors/attorneys must wear: Dress slacks/skirts and blouses; appropriate undergarments must be worn, but not seen; dress shoes/dress sandals All pants must be worn at the waist. The minimum length of skirts/dresses must be no shorter than the tip of the longest finger with student’s hand fully extended down the side of the student’s leg.
  2. NO: visible mid-drifts; no visible cleavage no backless, strapless, or sleeveless dresses/blouses without a jacket or sweater; no ripped pants(even store bought “preripped pants); no tights or leggings; no visible facial jewelry or tattoos; no “grillz”; no flip flops

Male Court Clerks/Jurors/ Defendants

  1. Polo and button down shirts only; Slacks/khakis/jeans only; shoe laces must be tied. All pants must be worn at the waist
  2. NO: T-Shirts/tank tops/jerseys; baggy pants, shorts; no ripped pants(even store bought “pre-ripped pants); baggy or saggy pants; no visible facial jewelry or tattoos; no “grillz”; no flip flops or sandals.

Female Court Clerks/Jurors/ Defendants

  1. NO: visible mid-drifts; no visible cleavage; no backless, strapless, or sleeveless dresses/blouses without a jacket or sweater; no short shorts; no sweatpants/velour suits; no ripped pants(even store bought “pre-ripped pants); no tights or leggings; no visible facial jewelry or tattoos; no “grillz”; no flip flops; appropriate undergarments must be worn, but not seen. All pants must be worn at the waist. The minimum length of skirts/dresses must be no shorter than the tip of the longest finger with student’s hand fully extended down the side of the student’s leg.
