NeighborhoodLIFT Program

Wells Fargo & Company, NeighborWorks America and its network member Business & Community Lenders of Texas announced the NeighborhoodLIFT program is expanding to include homeowners in Arlington, Tarrant County and the City of Dallas. This is a $6.6 million philanthropic commitment by the Wells Fargo Foundation that offers $15,000 down payment assistance grants and is estimated to serve 325 homeowners.

Attend the free NeighborhoodLIFT homebuyer event and see if you qualify for a $15,000 grant to help you buy a home. At the event, you’ll learn the steps required for homeownership and what you can do next. You’ll walk in with a possibility and out with a plan.

Are you active military, veteran, or eligible surviving spouse; law enforcement, firefighter, emergency medical technician or teacher/paraprofessional? You might qualify for an additional $2,500.

“We are absolutely thrilled that Wells Fargo is bringing the NeighborhoodLIFT program to Arlington and Tarrant County,” said Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams. “Through this outstanding program they are not only providing an opportunity for low to moderate income homebuyers to access financial assistance to purchase a home, but they are also providing homebuyer counseling to help consumers make good purchasing choices.”
