Promotions

On Thursday May 4, 2023 the Arlington Fire Department held it's annual Promotional Ceremony at City Hall in the Council Chambers. Congratulations to all those recently promoted, our Professional Excellence recipient, and the Medal of Valor recipients. This was a very special occasion for the Arlington Fire Department and our members. During the ceremony, Captain Steve Eck was recognized for his professional Excellence.
Captain Eddie Saldivar, Lieutenant Mike Joiner, AO Robert Greene and Firefighter Ethan Kelly were awarded the Medal of Valor for duties performed on March 20, 2023 on a Confined Space Rescue. The rescuers exhibited extraordinary courage under dangerous conditions furthering the traditions of the Fire Service.
