Must be 18+ to sign up for a membership or day pass. A day pass is $8 and gives you Gold member access.
Must be 50+ to use ACTIV facilities.

Please note, some amenities are not available at all centers, but you can visit another center for access.

General Rules

• In order to participate in programs, open gym or weight room, all participants must have and present a current Annual Membership Card.
• A valid photo ID and proof of address must be presented at the time any membership or pass is purchased.
• Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by a guardian 15 or older. This guardian must have a valid membership.

Conduct

• Disruptive behavior is not tolerated at any time. Proper language etiquette and respect are expected at all times.

Attire

• Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. Shirts and shoes must be worn while in the facility.
• Closed toe shoes are required in the weight room and gymnasium.

Food & Drink

• Open containers are welcome in the lobby of our facility. Only water and sports drinks may be taken into the fitness room, and gym.

A monthly social calendar filled with clubs, programs, and activities designed to spark your interests. The calendar will be available on the 20th of each month, showcasing events for the following month on this page. Billiards and ping pong are also available. A physical copy of the social calendar is available at ACTIV.

EngAGE Arlington Monthly Breakfasts – Held the 3rd Tuesday each month at 8:15 AM. The EngAGE Breakfast, held offsite at Skillet N Grill, located at 1801 Division Street. This casual social event offers an opportunity to connect with others while learning about programs, activities, and day trips for active adults in Arlington. It's a wonderful chance to meet new people, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and have a great time! Please note, breakfast is on your own.

EngAGE Arlington Day Trips - Arlington Parks offers exciting out-of-city adventures just a short two-hour drive from Arlington. Departing from both the ACTIV 50+ Center and East Library & Recreation Center, these trips let you relax and enjoy the ride aboard the Naturally Fun bus. With 26 seats, wheelchair access, and a skilled driver, your comfort and safety are our top priority. Registration is available online at NaturallyFun.org or at any recreation center. You don't need to be a member to join a day trip, though non-members will incur an additional fee. A detailed email will be sent one week prior to your trip. Please ensure that the email address associated with your account is correct.

When will ACTIV open?

Who is ACTIV designed for?

ACTIV is designed specifically for adults aged 50 and older. Our programs and services focus on active and passive exercises, classes, and recreational opportunities to keep you engaged, fit, and connected!

Do you offer memberships?

Yes! ACTIV offers three membership tiers(PDF, 1MB) allowing residents and non-residents to select a plan that meets their recreational needs. As an added benefit, ACTIV members will also be able to use their membership at all other City of Arlington Recreation Centers at no extra cost. Already a member at another City of Arlington Recreation Center? Your existing membership will be honored at ACTIV as well.

Do you accept insurance supplements?

Yes! We currently accept Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, and Silver & Fit. Must bring valid photo ID and insurance card.

Do you have to be an Arlington resident?

ACTIV is open to both residents and non-residents. Residency for membership at ACTIV is determined by Arlington city limits. Current proof of residency is required for residents upon initial membership registration and each year thereafter. A current Texas Driver License or Texas Identification Card, utility bill (water or electric), car insurance or apartment lease may all be used to show proof of residency. If residency cannot be provided upon initial registration, the nonresident membership fee will apply for the current month and each month thereafter until residency is shown.

Are there scholarship opportunities?

Naturally Fun Scholarship recipients receive a one year Gold membership to an Arlington Recreation Center. Eligibility is based upon federal income guidelines and is available to Arlington residents only. Due to limited funding, scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. In addition, scholarships cannot be combined with any other discount offers. Visit our Financial Assistance page to view income eligibility, accepted documentation, and to start your application.

What if I just want to try it out?

Day passes are available for $8 and include gold tier access.

Can I rent space at the center for private events?

Yes! ACTIV offers event space rentals perfect for private gatherings such as birthday parties, family reunions, or community meetings. Those attending private events are excluded from the 50+ admittance requirement. Event rentals will begin in May 2025 and we will start booking for May and beyond on Jan. 1, 2025.

Follow us on social media and visit us at naturallyfun.org for the latest news, event announcements, and registration information. Collateral will also be distributed at the other City of Arlington Recreation Centers.
