Six Flags Over Texas, the region’s premier theme park, today said it plans to hire more than 500 employees as it prepares to open daily for the spring 2025 season. The park will start filling those roles during a week-long hiring blitz Feb. 15 to 22 as part of a large recruiting campaign by Six Flags Over Texas’ parent company, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, to hire 50,000 team members across all its parks in North America.

These positions include:

  • Food & Beverage
  • Ride Operators          
  • Security
  • Games and Merchandise Sales
  • Park Services Attendants
  • And more

Hourly pay starts at $9.50-$16.00 for those who are 16 years of age or older based on experience, prior experience and position. Six Flags Over Texas offers competitive wages and a wide variety of perks for its team members, including discounts on park food and merchandise, reward and recognition programs, exclusive employee events and free admission to any Six Flags park.

An information session will be held at the park’s Human Resources building on Feb. 15 and 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This session will provide an opportunity for candidates, as well as interested parents, to learn about the park’s different departments, positions, and employee perks. Qualified candidates will have the ability to apply, interview and get hired that same day.
