The National Medal of Honor Museum won Deal of the Year and the Community Impact Award awards at the Dallas Business Journal (DBJ) 2025 Best Real Estate Deals Awards on April 17.

The museum features more than 100,000 square feet of space, including 31,000 square feet dedicated to Exhibition Galleries telling the history of the Medal of Honor and the stories of the American heroes who earned it. Arlington was selected as the site for the museum after a national search in 2018.

This year, DBJ received more than 130 nominations for the awards. The judging process was based on the expected economic impact of each project or deal, including job creation and capital investment, as well as factors like the creativity required to get the deal done. There were six Arlington projects named finalists in different categories, including Texas Trust Credit Union for Headquarters lease/transaction, Caravan Court Hotel for Hotels, Prologis Interchange 20 for Industrial Redevelopment, Urban Union for Rehab or Reuse, National Medal of Honor Museum for Community Impact and One Rangers Way for Suburban Multifamily.
