The Arlington Police Department Strategic Communication Group (SCG) is responsible for sharing important public safety information with community members, highlighting department employees, initiatives, and successes, and providing timely, accurate information about police incidents and investigations to members of the news media.

Media Contacts

SCG regularly responds to media inquiries during normal business hours, Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm Central.

On weekends and after hours, members of the news media can email SCG members for information about incidents. SCG typically does not schedule interviews or provide sound on weekends / after hours, unless scheduled in advance or if responding to a critical incident.

Media members should send inquiries to APDMedia@ArlingtonTX.gov to reach all SCG members and receive the timeliest response.
