The Arlington Texas Police Department is requesting
funds through the Edward Byrne Competitive Grant,
Category V to enhance our Crime Scene Investigation and
Crime Lab Units (Crime Scene Unit) in order to meet
current and future demand for services. Additional staff
and equipment will improve our responsiveness to
victims, suspects and to our partners in criminal
justice and will support highway interdiction efforts
related to the U.S. Southern border.
