Designed to meet the recreational needs of Arlington residents and visitors, Cliff Nelson Recreation Center (CNRC) in southwest Arlington is located in the 15-acre Cliff Nelson Park. This multi-purpose facility offers a variety of program and rental opportunities.

Center Features:

1,500 square foot multi-purpose room available for programs and rentals

Regulation size gymnasium with six basketball goals that can be divided into two basketball or volleyball courts.

Full-service fitness room featuring Nautilus weight machines, cardio equipment and hand weights. Personal trainers are available by appointment. Child care also available during certain hours.

Locker rooms with showers.

Fully equipped kitchen including stove, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, ice machine and ample counter space.

Professional staff to assist with membership and program information.

Center Programs:

• Day camp program offering themed activities including sports, crafts and special activities for children ages 5-12 (available during the summer, winter and Spring Break holidays).
• Variety of aerobic and weight room memberships for ages 14 and up.
• Adult classes in aerobics, weight training, arts and culture.
• Preschool classes in martial arts, gymnastics, t-ball, basketball, soccer, dance and art.
• Mature adult programs in fitness, health and wellness.
• Elementary classes in martial arts, cheerleading, art, basketball, soccer, dance, football, boxing, gymnastics and music.
• Teen programs including fitness, camps, arts and culture.
• Educational preschool program offering a fun and learning environment for children ages 3-5

Reservations:

• CNRC is available for all types of reservations including birthday parties, showers and meetings. Rooms may be rented seven days a week during and after business hours. Overnight reservations are available on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Regulation size gymnasium featuring six basketball goals, synthetic rubber floor, volleyball courts and bleacher seating available for full or half court rentals.
• 1,500 square foot multi-purpose room with windows overlooking Cliff Nelson Park and playground. Seating capacity up to 75.
• Kitchen adjacent to multi-purpose room with stove, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, ice machine and ample counter space.
• Classroom for small meetings or parties. Seating capacity up to 15.
