About the NSP Program

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development earmarked $2 million in NSP funding for the City of Arlington. The funds are being used to acquire and rehabilitate foreclosed or abandoned homes in approved target areas. According to Community Services Assistant Director David Zappasodi, the NSP program will help to stabilize and improve Arlington neighborhoods in areas where foreclosure rates are highest. Thirteen more applications are in the approval process.
