Protect Animals During Cold Weather!
Pets should be kept safely indoors during severely cold weather! Winter weather temperatures falling below 32° can pose a serious risk to family pets, homeless animals, and trapped wildlife. Extremely cold weather can be particularly hazardous for pets. We also ask our residents who trap stray and wild animals to stop trapping on days when the temperature is below freezing. Please keep your pets safe and warm during cold weather! Call Arlington Animal Services at 817-459-5898 to report cruelty or abuse of animals.

 		 Attention Cat Lovers 
Would you like to help the felines at the shelter? Donors can order scratching pads, food and other items at special shelter rates with donations delivered directly to the Arlington Animal Services Center.

 		 Low Cost Spay and Neuter Programs Are Available  
to help control pet population. The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) is busy partnering in several locations to provide low cost spay/neuter services. For more information please contact TCAP at 817-426-3777.

 		 Animal Services Receives a Special Donation for Pet Food
The Animal Services Center and the sheltered animals wish to thank Mr. Murrell of the John Murrell Foundation of Dallas for his generous donation of $5,000 towards the purchase of quality pet food. The sheltered animals are on a special diet to help keep them as healthy as possible. Additional help is needed. You can help feed the animals by contacting Nature's Select Pet Food of Fort Worth to get food at special shelter rates delivered to the Arlington Animal Services Center. Your support will be grrr-eatly appreciated!

The first Cleo Award winner for November 2008 went to Ranger. Ranger is a sweet, loving dog that was recently adopted by the Thomas family from the Arlington Animal Services Center. Ranger has captured the hearts of and has made a perfect match for his new family.
