The Community
Services Department awards Community Development
Block Grant, Emergency Shelter Grant, HOME, and
American Dream Downpayment Initiative funds made
available through the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development. The City awarded grants
to 22 nonprofit organizations to provide a
variety of services to Arlington citizens for
Program Year 2008, which began July 1, 2008. For
